We saw a lot of gorgeous birds today, including shimmery blue starlings, a brown snake eagle, a white-back vulture (sitting in a stark dead tree!), yellow and red hornbills,giant kingfishers, and the terribly endangered ground hornbills, which are about the size and body shape of wild turkeys.
