Shy hippo

Not too far from a river we came across a single hippo half-hidden in the brush.  The students who were working the spotlights saw him and shouted for us to stop.  We braked hard and fast, and managed to catch a short glimpse of the hippo before he managed to hide himself deeper in the bushes.
