Giraffes
We ended up seeing a number of giraffes today, with different jeeps seeing a different amount. Giraffes keep in small groups of two or three for the most part, with females about a meter shorter than the males. Some giraffes are significantly darker than others, which is just a trick of genetics or else a sign of advanced age. They are very quiet and peaceful, and you actually get a sense that they are curious about us; they don't seem wary, just interested. They are watching us like we are watching them.
