Some gorgeous scenery
Kruger Park is huge and has several micro-climates and distinct terrains, from rolling hills to rocky points, to scrubby forests of thorny acacia bushes or slightly larger mopani trees, to stands of graceful large trees ing the rivers. There are two large rivers in Kruger, Oliphant and the Sabie. We have spent much of our time near the Sabie and a smaller tributary called the Sand River. The first photo I'm posting here is where the Sand and the Sabie come together, with the Sand on the left. You can see the Sand is quite low, as well as quite sandy.
