We saw little vervet monkeys in the trees as we drove today. They skittered from branch to branch and chattered away. We also have some vervet monkeys at our hotel, and in fact some of us watched from the pool as one brazen little guy walked right up to a hotel trash receptacle and easily took off the monkey-proof lid and fished around inside. We also had one little guy come up to a group of us by the pool; he basically walked up and took an apple from Lauren. There may have been some screaming but everyone came out OK in the end. Wow.
One of the jeeps today also saw baboons!
